Arcane Mage Talents
Talents in World of Warcraft define your character's gameplay. They offer active abilities for offense and defense, major cooldowns, or passive enhancements to your stats and spells. Here are the current Arcane Mage talents for Midnight Pre-Patch.

Class Talents
Class talents represent a common tree shared across all Mage specializations. These talents provide foundational skills and enhancements essential to the Mage class, offering a range of abilities that lay the groundwork for a Mage's overall capabilities.

Passive | Upon dropping below 25% health, your past self corrects your timeline, casting Alter Time and instantly returning 50% of your maximum health. |

Instant - 40 Yd Range | Steals a beneficial magic effect from the target. This effect lasts a maximum of 2 min. |

Passive | Counterspell's cooldown is reduced by 5 sec. |
|
|
Instant - 45 Sec Cooldown | Enemies in a 12 yd cone in front of you take 260 Fire damage and are disoriented for 4 sec. Damage will cancel the effect. |

Instant - 40 Yd Range - 45 Sec Cooldown | Pulses arcane energy around the target enemy or ally, dealing 163 Arcane damage to all enemies within 8 yds, and knocking them upward. A primary enemy target will take 100% increased damage. |

Instant - 40 Yd Range - 8 Sec Cooldown | Removes all Curses from a friendly target. |
|

Passive | Mirror Image's cooldown is reduced by 60 sec. |
|
|
Passive | Spellsteal repeats its effect after 4 sec, but it now has a cooldown of 4.0 sec. |

Instant - 0.5 Sec Cooldown | Teleports you 20 yds forward, unless something is in the way. Unaffected by the global cooldown and castable while casting. |

Passive | Each time your Arcane Barrage fails to critically strike, it gains 10% increased critical strike chance. Critical strike bonus is removed when the affected spell critically strikes. |

|
Instant - 2 Min Cooldown | Makes you invisible and untargetable for 20 sec, removing all threat. Any action taken cancels this effect. |

Instant - 40 Yd Range - 25 Sec Cooldown | Causes a whirl of icy wind around the enemy, dealing 521 Frost damage to the target and all other enemies within 8 yds, freezing them in place for 2 sec. Damage reduced beyond 8 targets. |

Passive | The cooldown of your loss of control spells are reduced by 5 sec. |
|
|
2 Sec Cast - 30 Yd Range - 45 Sec Cooldown | Summons a Ring of Frost for 10 sec at the target location. Enemies entering the ring are incapacitated for 10 sec. Limit 10 targets. When the incapacitate expires, enemies are slowed by 65% for 4 sec. |

|
1.7 Sec Cast - 1 Min Cooldown | Transforms all enemies within 10 yards into sheep, wandering around incapacitated for 15 sec. While affected, the victims cannot take actions but will regenerate health very quickly. Damage will cancel the effect. Only works on Beasts, Humanoids and Critters. |

Passive | Casting your barrier removes all snare effects. |
|
|
Instant - 5 Min Cooldown | You and your allies within 40 yards instantly become invisible for 12 sec. Taking any action will cancel the effect. Does not affect allies in combat. |

|
Passive - 100 Yd Range | When your Barrier is removed, reduce its cooldown by 5 sec. |
|
|
Passive | Ice Block now reduces all damage taken by 70% for 6 sec but no longer grants Immunity, prevents movement, attacks, or casting spells. Does not incur the Global Cooldown. |

|
Passive | Blink gains an additional charge. |
|
|
Passive | After casting Blink, it is replaced with Reflection for 8 sec. Reflection Teleports you back to where you last Blinked. Castable while casting and unaffected by the global cooldown. |

|
Passive | Prismatic Barrier further reduces magical damage taken by an additional 10% and duration of harmful Magic effects by 15%. |
Specialization Talents
Specialization talents provide Arcane Mages with unique abilities and enhancements tailored to their combat style. These talents differentiate Arcane Mages from other Mage specializations, maximizing effectiveness in combat.

2.5 Sec Cast - 40 Yd Range - 1.5 Min Cooldown | Expend all of your current mana to annihilate your enemy target and nearby enemies for up to 2,770 Arcane damage based on Mana spent. Deals reduced damage beyond 8 targets. For the next 15 sec, your Mana regeneration is increased by 425% and spell damage is increased by 35%. Generates Clearcasting. |

Instant - 40 Yd Range | Launches an Arcane Orb forward from your position, traveling up to 40 yds, dealing 584 Arcane damage to enemies it passes through. Grants 1 Arcane Charge when cast and every time it deals damage. |

PvP Talents
PvP talents are tailored for player-versus-player combat scenarios. Activated in arenas, battlegrounds, and the open world with War Mode enabled, these talents optimize a Arcane Mage 's performance in PvP encounters. They provide specialized enhancements that give players an edge in combat against other players.
